Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade my current phone as it is broken and no longer works. When I go through the upgrade process the site wants to send a code to my phone to verify my account but because my phone is broken, I won't be able to see the code. Is there an alternative way to verify my account?

Thanks.

You'll have to call and do it over the phone or put your sim in another working phone to get the code.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Try 0800 587 4005from a landline.

How can I call if my phone is broken?! There should be an alternative way of doing it like via email etc. It's just made the whole process impossible now.

Well you can borrow a phone, use a landline or try Skype as suggested on the link I gave you @coldo121

There's probably a phone box around somewhere you could try too.

Is there a direct link to the page where it says how to contact via skype chat? And is it secure? There isn't any phoneboxes near me.

Well, I phoned the number given. The girl at the other end said I'd have to phone Upgrades which closes at 6pm to see if they could send me a verification code via email....Absolutley no attempt by the Girl to even try and find a solution, just fobbed off with "phone upgrades tomorrow". A bit difficult to phone them tomorrow when I'm in work with no phone and I don't get the time in work to sort stuff like this out.
