I am a former o2 customer and still have my old Samsung Galaxy S6 which is locked to o2. I want to loan the phone to my daughter who has just broken her own phone, but I need to get it unlocked. The o2 processes rely on me being a current / existing customer to request unlatching. The system does not cater for former customers. Can anyone advise me how I can get an unlock code from o2 please?

If the unlocking process above doesnt work what you can do is the following:
1. Get another o2 pay monthly customer (friend)to put their sim in your S6 and make 1 phone call.
2. Wait 24hrs
3. The person who made the call on your s6 with their sim submits the unlocking request via their myo2 and they will be sent the code via email.
4. Get code from them and put your daughters sim in the s6....input code. Done
