Unhappy!

I'm very annoyed at the fact that o2 has decided to upgrade my sim only contract without my authorisation over the weekend, and sends me a text message on a Sunday evening where I cannot even contact them as they are closed. Why on earth would I upgrade from the 20gb data to a 500mb price plan! Absolute nonsense

Why would they do that?

Yep. Exact same here. Did you get sorted? I have used live chat as its instant and there is no way I can ring o2 at this hour to get it sorted.

What on earth is happening here?. If this is more than an isolated case it certainly needs bringing to the attention of @Toby (or @Martin-O2 as he was dealing with the first one)

Who would access an account to "upgrade" it just to have a phone sent to your address. Not a very good thief. Inside sales trying to up commission surely.

I'm guessing someone who needs to up their sakes MI5.
What thief would upgrade your account just to have a phone sent to your address.
The thing is. On paper it was very attractive. IPhone 6 128GB. 14 quid a month for 2 years. Pitty I hate Iphones and I value my 10gb a lot more than a fashion phone.

But you'd just cancel it and return phone so it wouldn't work very well.....

Maybe it's some kind of aggressive marketing. Looks like we're being passed from pillar to post. Certainly not easy at the minute. I've asked for a copy of live chat transcript but it wasn't sent. So far I'm not seeing any changes. I expect it'll be a long slog to fix this

All you have to do is return it within 14 days.
It's hassle but not the end of the world.
I'm certainly concerned as to the how and why this is happening though......

Yes. Hassle I don't need at the minute. All the while I'm racking up charges on this new tariff.
