I've got an existing contract in my name, which is paid for by myself, but it's my daughter who uses the phone. She'd like to take over the account as the contract is up for a refresh soon, and pay the bills herself. Can anyone explain the way to go about this?

At the point she upgrades she needs to go in store and take a new contract in her own name. She will need to pass the credit checks.
You will then need to give permission to migrate the number to the new account.
Don’t do this until the upgrade date or you will be charged cancellation fees.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
