Hi I have a contract monthly phone with unlimited texts, but as I am going to Cyprus (Protarus) I want to know if I send a text back to the UK will this come off my allowance or will I be charged seperately. Also do I need to add a bolt on to the phone to enable me to use this abroad

Sorry, my bad, got the calls/texts mixed up.
It should read:
Receiving calls - per minute 4p
Sending texts - per message 5p
Texts always free to receive !

~~Receiving them is 4p.~~ (see edit in post below.)
and O2 Travel rates apply.
However, significantly more and no O2 travel if North Cyprus.

@MI5 do you really get charged for receiving texts whilst abroad?

I didn't think you did as you cant choose not to receive a text like you can a call

Or better yet use tugo and the texts will come out of your allowance...
