Charges for receiving scam calls when abroad

Why have i been charged £2 per scam call received whilst i was abroad. I haven't made any calls and i certainly never seen or heard that amount of calls in the 2 weeks i was away this is a lot of money amounted.

Unfortuntely there will be nothing o2 can do about this, as you should have turned off Voicemail before you left the UK, as the way roaming has always worked is that if a call cant be delivered to your phone and is redirected back to voicemail it is classed as an international call back to the UK. Doesn't matter if its a spam call or a legitimate call the charges apply.
And o2 dont know these are spam calls..
Sorry but this has been in place at least for the past 20+years .
If you are struggling to pay these call charges then speak to the Payment Management Team on 0800 902 0217 and setup a payment plan.
