Tariff upgrade, only getting emergency calls

hi folks,

 

I recently upgraded my tariff last week and since then, I've only had emergency calls and zero network! Doesn't help with the fact I'm now travelling abroad and have zero network so relying on WiFi everywhere. Has anyone else had this issue before?

 

I've waited the 24 hours as told, contacted O2 on the live chat and by phone, all of which I was told it was a signal outage in every area I was in! 

 

This is now making me consider leaving O2 as it's created more issues than fixed, has anyone any other ideas I could try or can someone from O2 help? I am not able to call into a store until I get back home mid September but need this resolved sooner

You will need to persist with O2, @Kat_33 - but not the call center team, reach out to the Social Media team using either Facebook, link just below, or Instagram. Avoid using X, as O2 are unable to help via that platform currently.

Don't know what you are using but if it is your old plastic SIM there is a good chance O2 have issued an eSIM and disconnected the plastic

Look in MyO2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
