Tariff should have reduced

I received a letter recently in the last month or so saying im over my 12m contract and good news my tariff was going down.

I thought great as I wouldn't mind keeping my phone a little longer and threw away the letter. However my bill hasn't gone down and has actually increased slightly (the tariff itself has increased, its not extra charges).

Has anyone else experienced this?

Unless you were on a Refresh contract and paying for a phone searately, your tariff won't go down

You may be able to upgrade now to a sim only and get a better tariff though @Alice3
