I received an email today saying my tariff has now changed, with a higher data usage.

 

I have not asked for this, are O2 realigning their tariffs or do i need to contact customer service to dispute this?

On the back of this no customer should be negatively impacted.

@O2Jordan  Thanks for that information. So its some, not all, pre 2018 tariffs?  When you say it wont impact the customer negatively, does that mean they won't be paying more or losing any part of the tariff plan ie calls,texts or data?

Edited to ask what tariffs are being affected? Those on Refresh, sim only or big bundles?

Hi @Cleoriff@jonsie 

 

From the information we have at the moment, this is Pay Monthly customers only so Big Bundles should not be affected, however SIM Only plans will be affected and only contracts which are out of contract. With regards to some people advising they are paying more for less, I’d be unable to comment as unable to see that particular instance, however they are out of contract so can speak to our upgrades team to see if there is any other plans which would suite them better.
