Switching numbers

I've had a pay monthly contract with O2 on an Xperia Z for a few months now but I've decided I'd like an iPhone 5 so I've ordered one on a refresh contract from the O2 store.

My problem is that I really don't want to change my mobile number again so I'd like to use my current number in the new iPhone if possible. I know I could do this by putting my current sim into the iPhone but I'd rather not.

Is it possible for O2 to swap the numbers so that the new iPhone & sim have my current number?

It's a simple matter of filling the form in when you have your new phone and sim card.

Or just pop into your local O2 store and they will arrange it for you.
