How does Switch Up work for phones with long delivery times? 

 

I want the 16 Pro Max but there's no delivery expected for 3 weeks at least. If I pay the £1.00 up front fee, go through the motions etc, will O2 expect me to send in my existing device now, or when I take delivery of the new phone?

 

I've looked on the main site but no luck getting an answer! Just explanations on how to do it, but nothing for my specific situation

Q. Can I use O2 Switch Up on the new iPhone?

AO2 Switch Up is available from pre-order online and in store. Customers who order online will need to send their old phone back when they receive their new phone. Customers who visit a retail store will be asked for their old phone when they collect their new iPhone.  More info about O2 Switch Up 👉 www.o2.co.uk/o2-switch-up
