Swapping from another provider

I'm swapping over from ee, when I bought my new o2 sim I'd put in the PAC code, I'd tried texting swap to the number they give you but realised this is for swapping within o2... I've filled in the online form to swap too but haven't had any confirmations through or anything, has anyone got advice on this? The online advice isn't very clear.
