My calls to my mum’s landline in Spain continue to be charged at 10p per minute, even though £2 bolt on (from 3 November) clearly states that calls to Spanish landlines should be 2p per minute. I’ve wasted tens of pounds of my credit, and spent WEEKS trying to get a response. Access For You have proven to be useless. Just like the 2 x hour calls to O2 advisers in India (!) who blamed O2 system upgrading for not being able to provide me with a response. After more than 20 years being an O2 customer, I now want to switch to another phone provider. Shame on you O2.

There are some other smaller providers that do free calls to EU countries.
I use one

The International Calling Bolt-on is £3/month, and if it is correctly showing in your Bolt-ons list in your MyO2, should be giving you the published per-minute rate, @TBImontero

Contact O2 via FB or Instagram using links here to arrange for refund of the charges taken by O2 in error, and be persistent: https://www.o2.co.uk/abouto2/social-media
