If phone ststes no sim card/no service, what can i do please.  Sim card is in place

There could be a local issue. Check your postcode here http://status.o2.co.uk/ or your Phone or SIM could have gone faulty. Try your SIM in another O2 phone and / or check with neighbours / friends to see if they are having similar problems in your area.

It means that either the SIM is in wrong, the SIM is not provisioned or phone is not reading the SIM. Is it a new phone/SIM an upgrade, bought in shop or off ebay etc.....?

new phone ordered by telephone from O2. Previous O2 sim card inserted and worked perfectly until now.  Thank you for reply
