Sim.swap still not worked after 4 attempts at doing it

4 times ive attempted sim swap, and still it hasnt worked i get the txt saying successful wait 24hrs and still nothing has happened and ive benn billed for something im not even useing yet

there is a backlog of requests for sim swaps and moving numbers - probably due to staff shortages at o2 and the company that manages it for all networks.
if you have had the notification that your request has been received then you will just need to wait I'm afraid...

Samsung s9+, ivebeen trying since last thursday , as im on payg im about to run out for the month now and ddont no wether to top it up again as the hassle of swappin the other sim in and out just to make a text or call seems daft 🙈

Did you need a smaller sim? Also, may seem a bit classic, but resetting the phone normally helps pull through the sim swap.

Ive reset the fone several times still hasnt swapped to the new sim o2 sent me, didnt need a smaller sim as nano sim is what goes in my s9+ atm, each time i send the txt throo to swap it says success 24hrs will be done but its just not doin it

Oh really im bein billed and a DD due out in couple a days but im not even useing it as its no good to me on a diff number so shall i not pay it or what cant work out the best option as im being charged for something ive had absolutley no use out of so far
