Sim only contract to 02 refresh

I just got a 18 month sim only contract with 02. I got told that in three months, I can upgrade to 02 refresh with a device. I would like to know whether I will undergo another credit check

Yes you will.

The device is paid for on a credit agreement.

I got told on the phone that if my make my payments on time and in full for the first three months, I will be able to upgrade to 02 refresh without another credit check but I’m a bit sceptical

You will 100% be credit checked if you take a phone on refresh, period.

You can upgrade to a phone without another credit check but it's a minimum of 6 months not 3 before they will let you take a handset.
