Second credit check due to 1st handset being incorrect

Anonymous
Not applicable
I sent a handset back as it was incorrect. I've now applied for a new contract as they have received my handset and cancelled the first account. How will I know if th 2nd credit check was successful?
I've paid for delivery tomorrow, will I know tonight?
Thanking you in advance

But one must ask the question why O2 Depts don't talk to each other.

If Customer Services had informed Fraud Dept that the original transaction was null and void then this situation would not have occurred.

Yet another O2 procedure that doesn't work how it ought, to the detriment of the customer

I thought the same too - I assume it was because the order was placed online but not excuse for the broken links.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

As I thought, a second credit check shouldn't have been necessary but yes, you would think the departments would actually liase with one another.

Perhaps the pigeon got lost ?.......there must be a valid reason why Fraud Dept weren't told.
