I had a phone call from 02039745149 today, offering a discount on my monthly O2 bill. They sent a text and then an email with a link to https://o2updates.co.uk where I would have to enter my O2 username and password. This looked dodgy, so I did not enter my details and hang up. Was it a scam?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.
