Scam text?

Been paying my bill by direct debit since joining O2 and have received the following
Hello , Wayne,
We're having troubles verifying your account details.
Click below to avoid your services being terminated.

Is this a scam text as I can't imagine why O2 would be having difficulties with my direct debit after 5 years of being with O2.

There have been a few posts on here with the same text. It's annoying how these scammers get our name and other details. Always check My O2 bfeore clicking on any link.

There's a lot going around at the moment.
We've had numerous reports on here about scam and dodgy texts and emails.
Delete, forget and move on......
