After having problems with a scam premium number for games and being charged for something i am not using at a cost of £4.50 per week, even after texting STOP,  i have had difficulty getting it stopped. Hopefully o2 now have managed it, but would it be possible to have a permission text from o2 checking that we have agreed to using it?

Their texts come through in their name and no number, so can’t even report the number. You just get the site when you open the text....

Search the name of the company on PSA website http://psauthority.org.uk/for-consumers/unexpected-phone-charge

Stupidly i deleted my texts and the short code was lost. I did get a number from o2 shop, took them an hour and a half to find it,  and they text stop and i had a message saying i would be unsubscribed in 24 hours but it hasn’t happened. They seem to be charging me for sending me texts at £3.00 and £4.50 a time and under two names that are on my bill.

Are both the names traced back to the same company?

If you haven't been unsubscribed you will get more texts. Let us know the number and we can help you further.

Surely @Serynr should follow the advice in the link I provided in my first post? I must have misunderstood as I thought that covered everything needed?...

Quite, but the texts have been deleted without taking note of the short code. O2 have given incorrect contact details.
