Samsung Repair

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi yesterday I had to send my samsung galaxy s7 off for repair as the battery had swollen to twice its size and the back had started to come away on the volume side and there was a centimetre gap and it wouldn't hold charge even after being on charge for 12 hours.

I cannot track my repair as it says the repair number is invalid, I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it will take to be repaired and returned to store.  The girl in the shop said it could take upto 3 weeks I'm hoping this isn't the case as I'm paying for a service I'm not recieving.

Thanks in advance

You can use your sim in another phone to still get use of your allowances, but the tracking system has been down for ages.
A call to customer services might help you get details of the repair status http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Hi @Anonymous Repair times are dependent on the problem. Did you use this link to track your device? https://diagnostics.o2.co.uk/track-my-repair/

Also did you take it instore to send for repair?

Hi yes I took my phone into store to send it off as I felt this was safer and quicker and they noted that it was in excellent physical condition with no physical damage (which is another reason I took it into store as proof that it wasn't anything I had done).

I used that link and it says the repair number doesn't exist

Did the shop give you a repair tracking number? (as that's where you took the phone) @Anonymous

A repair number but I'm not sure that's the same as a tracking number.
