Having purchased a Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the time of release - I was eligible for a discount voucher to obtain Galaxy Buds Pro 3 for £20. This was meant to be sent to customers in the form of an SMS after 30 days from purchase date. Still no SMS.

Despite numerous MYO2 app conversations with customer services, and telephone calls.......still no voucher code.

@Oxonian spoke with the web chat team yesterday who stated they will add a credit to my account of the value offered during the promotion (£199) to which i can use to purchase the buds. not sure how this will work as i cant see anywhere on the online account where it shows a credit or how this can be utilised to purchase accessories

I don’t think I have ever been able to use credit on my account to buy accessories, unless they let you refund it to your bank account, and then you order them (or keep the cash)

I would call back and double check as it sounds wrong to me…

Maybe give it @VS2 a couple of working days to see if the credit appears ; it strikes me that a credit of almost £200 would probably require approval within O2 but from someone unconnected with the decision to credit your account. 👍

@Oxonian @madasaf1sh credit receieved to the value of the promo code (£199) and they have advised this will be transferred to my bank account. Email and text messages receieved to confirm this too! Find it strange how they could no longer supply the promo code and/or why it took so long to resolve.

No one knows what goes through the mind of o2 CS sometimes, but at least you have the £199 slight_smile

Without trying to fathom out the internal workings of O2, that sounds like a result for you !

At least it gives you finality and the choice of buying the accessory or simply treating the funds as an unexpected discount ! 👍

I keep being told ill get my code in 5 working days. I never get a code. Spoke to agents via O2 app, X and facebook/messenger. They never help, just deflect to other departments. All tell me to call O2. I call and am hung up on every time. When did such bad customer service become normalised? What can I do when you you can't even get a competent response? Hung up on and copy pasted messages via social outlets? No one cares once they have your money each month after the 14 days return window I guess.

Hello. I have just been told the same on chat. What did you say to get them to send you a code there and then?

Cheers

I did state that I have spoken to them on all social media. I was told again yesterday the following, of a copy pasted response.  Not so helpful UK customer service.
