STAC Code Issue

Hi,

I am really struggling here and would appreciate some help please.

I have been with O2 for a little over 2 years and have just upgraded my O2 Refresh for another 3 years.

I had a second SIM-only deal with SKY Mobile that I have now decided to ditch.

I have a STAC from SKY and I would like to give it to O2 in order to get the SKY one canceled.

Anyone know if I can actually do this (not being a NEW O2 customer) and if so, how do I actually give the code to O2 as I cant see anywhere on the website to enter it.

Thank you.

@WadeyBHA

I think the best way would be call so they can process it manually.

Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Usually the STAC code is when you move suppliers but don't want to keep the number, given you're already with O2 and the STAC is to close your secondary account with Sky, a better option would be to contact SKY and just have them close your account down

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I would normally have done that, but with all these changes (STAC) etc. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to do it "the new way".

On reflection, I think I will just write to SKY and cancel it.
