SIM taking over 24 hours to activate

Anonymous

I ordered a SIM from O2 online which got lost in the post, and I'd already been charged for the contract. I explained this to my local O2 store and they deactivated the lost SIM and did a SIM Swap to a brand new SIM. This SIM has not yet activated and it's been over 24 hours....

If the first sim was reported lost an account bar may be in place.
You should check with CS to see if that's the case and get them to lift the bar for you http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Try turning your phone off and on to reset the connection.
