Can anyone assist - I have a sim only deal and have done so for the past few months. Can I now upgrade to a Pay Monthly with a new handset - no late payments at all on my account since ive been a newbie. Help on this will be great.

You can upgrade after 3 months but you need to call customer service to override the system which tells you you can't upgrade yet.
Give them a call on 202

It will tell you if so. You can then order online. If you can't find anything to help in there then you need to give customer services a call https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

hi ya, you will still be credit checked before they offer you a handset deal, where they get you is saying after 3/6 months of no late payments etc you will be able to upgrade to a handset contract BUT that is still status to a credit check. hope you get the phone you want slight_smile

Bit of a strange one this I was in same. Boat had sim only. For 3 months couldn't upgrade even by phone so I called they said can't so waited till 4th month went on O2 site and was able to upgrade to a s8 but was new number and contract I just then called and asked to keep the old number and not new one

I was told. Mi5 3 months to upgrade then 6 months on 4th month I just applied for a new contract and number got accepted then canceled new number and got old one moved over to it
