Hello, I have requested a PAC code to transfer my number to a new network.

However I would like to keep the contract with my o2 device and pay it off monthly as I can use the phone as a spare for my child. Is this an option?
Thanks

Hello @Phillk454

When you give the PAC code to your new provider it will then end your contract with o2

If you are on a Refresh tariff provided you are 2 years in when the handset and airtime are unlinked you can, but you need to speak to Payment Management

You can reach the Payment Management team on 0800 902 0217.

The opening times are:

Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm

Saturday – 8am to 6pm

Sunday – 9am to 6pm

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Either way, you will need a new contract for the phone as your current one will be cancelled.

Use uswitch to find the best deals, but be aware of the April price increase.
