Hey guys. So I just signed up for my first Contract Phone today which was a Lumia 640 with the 500 minutes plan, 500 MB of data and Unlimited Texts and I am currently waiting for my phone to be delievered tomorrow. I just had a quick question really relating to this picture.
as you can see under "Anytime, any network minutes" it says "16:40 left" now is that Hours and Minutes or Minutes and Seconds. As 500 minutes is "8.33333333 (recuring)" shouldn't it says "08:33" in the HH:MM format?
Sorry if this seems like a very silly question I have always been on PAYG and that time format does not show what format it is in so I find it a little confusing.

Minutes and seconds. You will get your full allowances when the bill is produced in a couple of days. You have a pro rata amount until then.

So I should get the full 500 tomorrow when my phone arrives tomorrow on the 8th as that is when the bill will be produced.
and my billing date is on the 22 June so I dont have to pay anything until then? Also after this first payment on the 22nd of june the payments will be every 4 weeks right?

Correct - your full allowance will arrive tomorrow and payment is normally taken 14 days from the billing date. Don't forget your first bill will be a little more than the tariff as you have a couple of extra days on it.

Not exactly. The part about you bill date is, but it will be the 8th of each month, so it's a fixed date.
The DD is the same 22nd, but this can move forward a day or two depending if it's a working day.

But I the first payment goes out on the 22nd and every payment after that is 4 weeks from that date (give or take a day or 2 )?

Don't worry, your first bill will be a couple of pounds more than the tariff you signed for because of the extra days. All your bills are produced on the same date irrespective of its a weekend or not. Payment is always 14 days after the billing date but if thevdirect debit falls on a weekend it will take the first working day after. Don't forget bank holidays could also affect the date your account is debited.
