Refurbished Phone - Warranty?

Looking at buying a refurbished Nokia 520, which were only released this year and which come with a standard 2 year nokia warranty. On o2's website though it states they are only covered by a 3 month warranty.

What I was wondeing, does the standard nokia warranty become void when buying a refurbished phone of o2? Or would I still be able to use nokia's remaining warranty once the 3 months is up?

Tried speaking to an online adviser yesterday and they couldn't answer my question.

The only warranty you'll get on a refurb is the one offered by O2.

If you purchased one from CEX they put a 12 month warranty on the phone.

There is no 2 year warrantee once it's been refurbed.
