It can take upto 48 hours after payment for reconnection, in some circumstance o2 wont reconnect the line, it depends on deliquency.
If after 48 hours it still isnt on then contact payment management on 0800 902 0217
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

You really need to contact O2 payment management on 0800 902 0217 to get this resolved, @GraceAlb89.

@GraceAlb89 and @Help29 Follow the advice from @madasaf1sh and @pgn and speak to Payment Management. If you were disconnected because of a late payment you may also have to pay a reconnection fee. To avoid this in future, set up a Direct Debit. Your bill has to be paid come what may, so there's no reason not to.
