My device plan was paid up and I requested on the 10th Feb 2024 to cancel my O2 Sim, don't want to transfer to another service or retain the number.

This alone took 2 very long phone calls, the first call the agent refused to cancel it insisting to know what other service I have running in my house (which I thought was strange) then hung up on me.

Second agent said everything was done and I would receive one for bill and direct debit then it would close after 30 days.

I've now called today to verify the line was cancelled and I've now been told it's not been cancelled and I should raise it again, what are my next steps? This is becoming a bit of a joke.

@Groovyson

All we can do is tell you to persevere with o2 customer services.  as you are in no longer in contract, so they should do it straight away.

If you want to get a copy of calls etc then you need to put in a SAR request which they have 40 days in which to provide you the information.

You can always try the complaints route via https://o2.co.uk/how-to-complain
