Problem with apps

I can not open my apps, they were working this morning. Now loads of my app won't open. Is it my phone or is this a global issue.... help

Mine is saying unfortunately messager has stopped. This is my bulit in 02 messaging service.

I have got the same problem it started when installed an update something keeps flashing up on the bottom of the screen but doesn't stay on long enough to read it
