Possible scam text?

I just received a text saying that my monthly payment (due tomorrow) couldn't be taken and to click on the following link to "update my payment details". As nothing has changed with my bank account I am very suspicious of this - anyone any ideas? Also, if this is a scam - how did they have my phone no and know that a payment is due?

It's a well known scam
Block the number and report it free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information.
