Tried to change my virgin number to o2 so i can keep same number. Its been a week now i cant recieve texts or calls but i can call and text people. Ive reported this a number of times to o2. They sent a form off thursday stil no joy

Sounds like a split port. Maybe customer service could help but nothing will likely happen until Monday as it’s the weekend

Ive done all this its been over a week since i requested number change. They said it would be sorted by last wednesday. Thursday they sent some file off and yesterday didsame. My phone was recieving calls briefly thenstopped. All they keep saying is 24 hours customer service.

Porting won’t happen over the weekend so earliest action will be taken on Monday: you can complain via this link if you wish

Usually it's 2 days from request, not including weekends, so the request made on Thursday would be processed on Friday but not actioned until Monday.
