Poor O2 signal

Anonymous

I am the only O2 user in my office who can't ever get a signal. I have a galaxy s3. All other O2 users can get a good signal but not me. Any ideas, anyone please?

Personally, No. If I did I would either go somewhere else or not be here in the first place.

Is this a new issue or are you new to O2?

Did you check the signal before moving to O2?

There are 4 major networks to choose from and they all have different levels of signal in different areas - It's a case of finding the one that suits your needs best.

Sorry I forgot to mention sometimes hard resets can help but ensure you make a back up first.

Edit to add link http://www.hard-reset.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-hard-reset.html

Not with signal issues bob as the modem is a separate file from the firmware...

The only time it might help is if there were issues with WiFi reception, but generally a hard reset will do nothing for signal.

The crucial piece of info here though is if the OP is having trouble making calls because as you rightly say, the S3 does tend to show a lower signal than some other makes of handset....?

I have the Samsung galaxy s4 and cannot get a signal in most places with o2.  My husband has an iphone and also does not get a signal, our phones are virtually useless unless near a wifi connection and we are totally fed up with paying a monthly tarriff for nothing!  Does anyone else have issues with poor signal?
