Phone not working. Wrong IMEI number and type of phone i when i log in to my account.

My phone has just said searching for service for the last 2 days. I took it to a phone fix shop for repair as its annoyingly a few days out of warrenty and collected it 3 hours later but they were unable to fix it. I have logged in to my online account and noticed it says my device is a Samsung E1200I (which its not its a iphone 6s) and the IMEI number is wrong? Should i be concerned about someone using my contract on a different device?

You would be well advised to call customer service to check your account status.

Did you put your sim in another phone whilst yours was been repaired?

Your MyO2 will pick up the last phone the sim was registered in so either that was the phone they tried the sim in or they were using it whilst they had your phone.

Thanks for your help. The phone type does match the type of phone they used. At least thats one less thing to worry about. Now just left with a perfectly good phone that refuses to read any sims.
