Hi,

When my new phone arrives, ill be looking at asking o2 to change my phone number (fresh start and all that).

Is it possible to request a change of phone number but the current number moved to a payg sim?

Only reason for this is security codes while moving 2FA accounts to the new number

Yes it's possible

Transfer the number to a pre pay beforehand and get a new sim with the phone
