Paying monthly bill early and o2 'not receiving' payment

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm a bit stuck here..

I have an o2 refresh account so my bills come out as a direct debit as two seperate things. I recently claimed on my phone insurance so this added onto my airtime bill. My device plan was £x amount and my airtime plan was £y amount.

I paid both of them off early so I knew where I stood with my wages instead of having to wait until mid next month. I went into my O2 account and it says that I'm still due to pay next month. I spoke to the Gurus and they say hey heave received payment £x but not £y. Even though £ybwas signficantly more so I had to go through a banking section to confirm it was me. The money has left my account but o2 are saying they haven't got the payment. What should I do? I'm getting no help from o2 whatsoever.

Thankyou in advance for any help.

If you have evidence payments were made then use it. Also keep persevering with CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

You need to show proof of the payment from your account to O2.
Only customer service can help you so you must keep trying http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
You can also raise a complaint if you get nowhere with CS.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I thought that the limit was £30 per day but if you used to spend more then you will know better than myself as I never use it.

https://www.o2.co.uk/charge-to-mobile

This is from the FAQs

Is there a limit to how much I can spend on Charge to Mobile?

You should only buy what you can afford to pay for.

If you're on Pay As You Go, you can spend up to the limit of your credit. If you're on Pay Monthly, anything you buy will be added to your monthly bill. The amount you can spend depends on how long you've been a customer, how much you normally spend and if you pay your bill on time.

Some sellers set their own spending limits too.
