My monthly contract expired 5th Oct and due to redundancy changed to Pay & Go. Online assistant who helped me said she'd reassign my original mobile number to new Pay & Go SIM, but she hasn't done this and it's causing all sorts of problems. Have tried to contact O2 online and by phone several times, but still no further forward!! Apparently I should also have been offered a loyalty bonus for staying with O2?? Can anyone help please?

Thanks but I have tried live chat and been transferred to another department only to sit waiting whilst O2 shop promote all their products and services!

I've also tried the link you kindly provided but I'm not recognized using my original number and the new number assigned to the Pay & Go SIM hasn't been used to make any calls to a frequently used number, so won't allow me to continue..............
