Online banking text messages

Im with lloyds bank  i can get text alerts about my account every  week to my mobile. They are free

do O2 charge any extra if i receive these texts?

No not at all, completely free. I get them myself.
It is worth noting however that TU can't handle these messages and they will only come through the stock messaging app.
