O2 won't unlock my phone

Can anybody help, I bought a brand new 6s from CPW entered my old O2 SIM card in the handset as EE could not transfer my number for a week after I decided to change networks, O2 have now locked my phone but will not accept responsibility and have said they can't unlock it, I spoke with apple and they have said that the imei is Cleary locked to O2 and they have to unlock it, I'm stumped as I now have an unusable brand new phone 😞

well cpw dont supply locked phones so to speak as my husband got a iphone 6 on contract with o2 from cpw and o2 unlocked it  and it is clearly defined in o2 terms and conditions that your phone can be unlocked by them as long as you are in contract also it is done for free there is absolutely no charge for this

iPhones from CPW lock to the first sim inserted.
O2 will have no problem unlocking a 6 as the time period has passed for when they weren't unlocking them.
It is the same for every new iPhone from o2 and will only unlock after around 5/6 months.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I've just asked O2 about unlocking an iPhone 6s Plus locked to O2. I saw it on eBay and for a sensible price and even more amazingly with no shill bidders involved. But as people on here are saying, they will not unlock an iPhone 6s of any version yet.

Shame too as I would have bid on it but iPhones are gonna be down in price in the next 6 months as the iPhone 7 rumours kick in so I'll wait and buy another sammy note (Sammy Note 5, very nice looking phone) and save a few pennies to boot until the iPhone 7 goes on sale around Autumn 2016.
