O2 refresh - Extra payment question

Hi all,

I have one month unitl I can upgrade on o2. 12 months into my refresh contract.

I pay £33 per month for the device plan. If I were to go into an o2 store today, and pay an additional £33 to the device, could I upgrade today, instead of waiting another month?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @robj87

You can pay off the device plan at any time and then free to upgrade

Not if as I assume you are on the upgrade on us deal?
You will need to pay off the entire device plan or wait until next month to hand the phone back.

Thanks for confirming.

Do you know what o2 do when they get the handsets back? Surley the earlier they have them, the better, as the retail value only goes down month on month.

Refurb them and sell on or use as insurance replacements.
