So on the o2 open page when you hover over the list of excluded devices list it says that there are currently no devices excluded from the scheme yet when you click into the link it says the iphone 7 Plus is excluded from the scheme. @Toby are you able to advise which statement is correct please?

Cheers

I dont agree its a mess, the only change is verifying you work for a qualifying organisation, and only the employee can take advantage now of the discount..

Quite right but it IS a mess when qualifying companies know nothing about the code needed. How can it be anything other than a complete shambles???? Don't forget, it took a new customer and a new community member to point out this MESS.....

Of course it's a damn mess. if you can't implement a policy change covering ALL aspects of it instead of half then the people missing out are the customers!. They have to apply for the Open code within 28 days now or they will miss out. A shambles. Even worse than O2 Travel when that was implemented with no information beforehand

Couldn't agree more my friend. The whole process as it stands is more than a mess, it's virtually impossible to get a code from any HR when they have never received it!!

Most HR departments are bloody awful, when it comes to benefits that their employees get...

Are we sure the HR departments havent recieved it, more than likely they havent cascaded it, or the person who is in charge of this hasnt cascaded it.. In our case its only because the person who normally deals with these is off sick..

We are all assuming o2 haven't sent the details..

My specs are a blue and white tinted for the football i support in Sheffield... defo no rose or red... lol

We have had two members since yesterday claiming their employer knows nothing about any 5 digit code. In fact @Curr946's HR dept sounds very much on the ball and they were informing him of the old system.

The other member was the one who actually informed us of the change...

We know from experience that O2 make changes and don't inform anyone relevant until weeks after, unfortunately.
This is not an unusual situation from that point of view at all, but I can pretty much guarantee that it's not the HR departments at fault.
