I'm trying to move my phone number (esim) to my new iPhone but there seems to be no way to do this. I called O2 and they started talking me through it but the line went dead half way through the call and I lost all service. It came back after a while but when I try and call them it says the lines are closed. The website says lines are open 8am to 9pm and it's 8.25pm so I don't understand why it says it's closed when I call back. Is there any way to get this sorted?

@lyesbkz

 We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from the forum.

You need  to contact O2.

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help. Or call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract)

@lyesbkz If you search the community you will see that there have been myriad issues with esims. If you want to avoid coming across any of them, call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby, and get a physical plastic sim until the esim problems lessen. They'll also supply you with an esim if your heart's set on it. If you do go in store to sort this out, be sure to bring photo ID with you.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
