Hi,

 

I am joining O2 shortly and also have an O2 Open code.  I was wondering if I can #purchase the phone online and visit the store to apply the discount or do I have to do it all in store?

I would have expected no response or a text to go in store if it wasn't - what you received is the same text that you used to get when requesting the discount via that method.

If I remember correctly, I received a text saying the discount had been added onto the number.

You used to get 2 texts - the first confirmed they had received the request, and the second after a few days when the discount has been applied.
