O2 Open discount

I've recently taken out an O2 refresh contract for an iPhone 5c. I'm eligible for a 30% O2 discount which I sorted out today and am just waiting on the confirmation of eligibility.
As my bill is split into my airtime and the phone plan (£15 a month for the phone, and £18.60 (inc. vat) for the airtime bill), where does the discount apply? Does it just apply to the £18.60 airtime bill, or does it apply to the total £33.60 bill?
It's probably a really obvious answer but I'm just not sure if my phone plan is included in the discount.

Hi Sophie,

The discount just applies to the airtime part of the contract.

Yup, as Jonsie says, it only applies to your airtime contract. That means it will be £13.02 instead of 18.60

OK, thanks. I was in an O2 shop yesterday and the assistant told me that Government workers were now eligible.!!!
