Number is unrecognised

I ported my number from BT to O2 back in May when I got a new S8 on a monthly contract and since then a lot of people that try to call me have got the message 'number is unrecognised'.

It's happening a heck of a lot. Occosionally the person that is calling does get through so it's not a problem with them misdialing.

Any idea's? I'm thinking of doing a factory reset but would rather not if there's a simple fix.

Sounds like the port has gone wrong somewhere, you need to contact your old provider or O2 to sort this

Start off with a SIM swap. Any O2 store will do this for free for you
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It's definitely an O2 problem, the sim card is the easiest thing to do at any O2 store. Don't need to factory reset the phone, all that will do is cause you time and stress.

Hi @Marnerbird, how are you getting on? Just wanted to check if you've made any progress with this since you last posted?
