Not happy with new phone

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 3GS which I had for well over 2 years to a Samsung Galaxy S3.  After using the phone for 10 days I just don't get on with it and I wish I had upgraded to the iPhone 5 instead.

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do?

Like I said, it's yours to sell if you choose to, it won't affect the contract which will continue with any phone.

To support Disasters Emergency Committee: http://www.dec.org.uk/appeals text Nepal to 70000 to send £5

Unfortunately if its an upgrade your three days out of the cooling off period:(

If you took out a new contract you have 14 days cooling off.

So if its a proper upgrade I'm sorry there's nothing you can do other than to buy the contract out or buy a sim free phone to use instead with the contract sim.

Hope this helps

Phone and ask I am not sure how long you get before you can return.  Possibly be 14 days?  I would phone now and see if you are able to change.

Sorry poorly worded its 7 days cooling off period on a handset upgrade.

So the op is 3 days over the limit.

Ok, quick history:

- I was on a 18 month contract with O2 which ran out in January this year

- I moved to a sim only contract, keeping my iPhone 3GS

- The iPhone 3GS started showing it's age so I went looking for a new phone

- Decided to try out the Galaxy S3 and transferred my number to a new contract on 28th October

- Start wondering if I can change my handset to an iPhone 5

- Tried calling the O2 store I got the phone from (Brighton) 4 times a day over the past 3 days but they never answer. (I can't get there until Saturday).

- Seek answers!

Sell it and put the money towards what you want.

In which case if its a new contract your covered by a 14 day cooling off:) it's not an upgrade:)

You can call CS on 202 and they should be able to cancel it for you then you'd take the phone back to the store ASAP to finalise it.

Don't call the store they tend to be pretty useless at answering

Also see if they can put a hold on your number so you can keep it to transfere to your new phone contract
