Hi There

I have just signed up 2 Sims to transfer to o2 from sky.

The o2 sims with their temporary numbers worked fine.

Both numbers should have been ported yesterday by 6pm (23rd June).

It looks like some step in the porting has failed as neither sim can call / text or access data now.

Please help as we really need our phones at the moment - can't even call without service o2 as we don't have a landline.

Thanks

Ports usually do not happen at the weekend, @MattyHa - so it will be Tuesday possibly before you get service. If your Sky SIMs have been deactivated, try rebooting your phone with the O2 SIM in it periodically, see if it can be kicked into life. Good luck!

Thanks, the port should have gone through yesterday and we had confirmation.

Apparently there is a fraud lock on my account so I'm not allowed any assistance from customer services.

Way to go for a new customer!

You can try pinging O2 via the Social Media Team in the link just below this post, it may at least alert them to a stuck step somewhere - the fraud thing sounds like a wind-up tbh @MattyHa ...

The fraud thing (2 x £5 a month contracts that o2 have taken the money out of my bank for) seems like an excuse to not be able to help, like puttin on a 'its too difficult pile'.

Will try the social media.
