As I have been totally ignored ny O2 on Twitter I will try on here.
We have had barely any service in the HU9 area of Hull for the last 4 days. Service status says that a mast is down but doesn't state anything is going to be done about it. This has happened many times recently, so again I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.
Is anything going to be resolved? I can understand that things do go wrong and things have to be repaired but for it to go on for 4 days is unacceptable and will be going to trading standards soon if nothing done.
The Live chat help was next to useless and I was ignored on Twitter.
Can anyone from O2 possibly reply to me here?

i'm with you Marc, i'm in HU12 area and I too have had no service for 4 days now and it's really not good enough. i've had a reply to a tweet from O2 saying engineers are working on it but that seems to be a pretty standard answer now and i'm fed up with it! i'm due an upgrade in July and am going to seriously consider a move if any of the other phone companies have decent coverage here! O2 just don't seem to care about their customers at all!

There is no guarantee of how long a repair will take, they're always done fairly quickly but matters beyond the control of O2 can cause further delays.
If you can find a network that never does any repairs or has any problems you could perhaps move to them.
Switching off 3G won't help as there is only 2G in this area.

no i appreciate i might not be able to find another operator who doesn't make repairs, but their customer service might be infinitely better than O2!

Yes no doubt they will use better kit and better engineers and call you sir when you phone up........
I don't think you are living in the real world, sorry.
The length a repair takes does not control what is "good service" and is no different on O2 than any other company!

well everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that is mine, if you don't like it I won't lose any sleep!!

I do believe that O2 comes out top of the Customer Service satisfaction surveys, year on year, so I seriously doubt you will find any better network in that area
Oh, and here's the link to Ofcom's report as proof Ofcom Satisfaction Results

4 days to fix would be very quick, 7 to 14 days would be more normal without knowing what is involved.
