Hello
I have Huawei P30 Pro New Edition directly from O2 store.
4G calling is Enabled on my account but no such option on my phone.
Phone is also on the list of 4G supported devices.
Help please?

According to this list
https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-international/wifi-and-4g-calling

P30 Pro is supported.
But customer service just told me over the phone that Huawei isn't supported just yet.
How weird is that?

It is supported.

May be a red herring, but my old note 10+5g wouldn't work as I had a zero spend cap. Removing it ( set to a fiver) solved the issue.

You could also try reset the network settings on the p30 and reboot.

Ok, I've done a sim swap already - doesn't help. signal is changing straight away to 3G when making a call and no VoLTE option in phone settings.

Second SIM card from Three doesn't seem to have such option (only WiFi Calling) but when making a phone call on Three's SIM it stays on 4G all the time.

Tried my O2 sim in my wife's P20 and... there it is! 4G Calls available!

What should I do now. Ask O2 to replace the phone? Its few days old.

@Gracjan

That would be what I would do, yes.

Seems like I will be waiting for some soft update from Huawei as the phone is "quite new" on the market... .

They said that they cannot guarantee if the replacement will have correct firmware so I have been advised to... wait. expressionless
